You should know that porting is essential for achieving your engine's potential.

No matter what performance add-ons you install on your bike, nothing will deliver the raw performance that head porting will achieve.  Your factory engine may contain any number of imperfections that restrict your engine's airflow.  When you port your engine, you are enlarging and refinishing your engines intake and exhaust ports to achieve the highest level of efficiency.  Porting and polishing the head on your motorcycle will eliminate the following factory flaws:

  • Rough casting and flash left inside port walls
  • Bowl to seat not blended well
  • Protrusive valve guides
  • Valve seat angle not optimum profile or configuration for Max HP
  • Intake runner divider shape needs attention
  • Bowl shape and volume needs attention
  • Combustion chamber volume too large in many cases
  • Combustion chamber size designed specifically for your cam and engine size combination

Your head porting will be performed by a professional.

It is important that you have your head ported by a quality porter.  A good porter is like a sculptor and you need someone who is a specialist in the area.  You can be confident that with over 35 years of experience, your engine is in the hands of a top of the line professional.    We offer porting on all Harley Davidson engines.
